and Rocket Pictures awarded this year's Grand Prize to BEST Productions
Director Mike Rembis for PERFECT PITCH starring Aymeric Hammad, Pamela
Holt and Judi Beecher. Mike Rembis is an actor and screenwriter who
currently resides in Austin Texas. This was his first year to enter the
competition. He produced the short film in only 11 hours. PERFECT PITCH

Local Austin Filmmaking Group Invites Public to Free First Screening
On the evening of December 16th, The Austin Filmmakers will screen for the
general public the first three films developed since the group’s inception six
months ago. The screening will be held at Sherlock’s, which is located at 9012
Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78758, (512) 380-9443.
Party starts at 7:00
Screenings begin at 8:00
No charge for admission
Food and beverage available for purchase.

cooperative venture that welcomes new projects of all kinds. The coop has
already produced these short films and has three more projects in
production at this time. We seek those interested in being part of a winning
and productive team and are especially looking for storyboard artists, CGI
people, executive producers and investors. This group is comprised of
people with various skill levels from those with little or no experience to
those with a lifetime of knowledge willing to share. Bring us your
screenplays, ideas and talents.
